Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box, sealed

This guide breaks down every 30th Celebration sealed product, what is inside each one, and which cards collectors are chasing. With the Booster Bundle arriving October 2, we also share where sealed market prices sit as of October 1, 2026, so you can pick the box that fits your budget and goals.

What makes 30th Celebration different

30th Celebration launched on September 16, 2026, and The Pokémon Company says it arrived simultaneously worldwide. It is part of the Mega Evolution Series and has more than 150 cards. Every booster pack contains five foil cards, one of 30 unique Pikachu illustrations, and one foil Basic Energy card.

The set also includes the Classic Collection, a group of reprints that highlights iconic cards from the past three decades. According to BankTCG, the set has 158 numbered cards, while the 30 Classic Collection reprints keep their original numbering. One example is the Base Set Charizard at 4/102.

The cards collectors are chasing

There are a few rarity tiers to know before you open anything:

  • Futuristic Rare: This is a new rarity, and only two cards have it: Mewtwo ex 157/128 and Mew ex 158/128, both illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN.
  • Special Illustration Rares: These include Mew ex 152/128, Gengar ex 154/128, Mewtwo ex 151/128, Pikachu ex 150/128, Jirachi ex 155/128, Sylveon ex 153/128, and Greninja ex 148/128. Wargamer also highlights the day and night "party" Pikachu ex cards by Kantaro.
  • Classic Collection reprints: These include the Aquapolis Crystal Lugia 149/147, the Base Set Charizard 4/102, and Magikarp 203/193.
  • The RGB Mews: Three unnumbered secret Mew cards are marked R/RGB, G/RGB, and B/RGB. BankTCG reports that they were not part of the reveals or the checklist.

As of September 30, 2026, BankTCG listed the RGB Mews at about $3,750 to $4,000 each raw, Crystal Lugia at about $337, Charizard at $190 to $204, and Mew ex SIR at $159 to $211. BankTCG notes that price trackers disagree by 20 to 30 percent, so treat these figures as ranges. Pull rates are not published by The Pokémon Company. In a community sample of 4,063 packs tracked by BankTCG, a Special Illustration Rare showed up about once every 18 packs and a Futuristic Rare about once every 99 packs.

Every sealed product, explained

Here is the full English lineup with release dates from the official product showcase:

  • Elite Trainer Box (September 16): Includes nine booster packs, a full-art Nidorina promo, 65 sleeves, 16 foil Basic Energy cards, dice, a coin, dividers, and a player's guide.
  • Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box (September 16): Includes everything in the standard box plus 11 packs and two Nidorina promos, one with the Pokémon Center logo.
  • Tech Sticker Collection, Knock Out Collection, Poster Collection, and Pokémon ex Box (September 16): Each includes two to four packs plus promos. The ex Box includes Sylveon ex or Greninja ex in standard and oversize versions.
  • Booster Bundle (October 2): Includes six booster packs.
  • Mini Tins (October 2): Each tin includes two packs, a sticker sheet, and a matching art card. There are ten tin artworks to collect.
  • Battle Deck, Espeon ex and Umbreon ex (October 30): Each is an all-foil, 60-card deck with a deck box, coin, and playmat.
  • Ditto Premium Collection, Figure Collection (Mew and Mewtwo), and Ultra-Premium Collection, Day and Night (November 6): The Ultra-Premium Collection includes 29 packs plus one Classic Collection pack with three Classic Collection cards.

BankTCG notes that there is no English booster box for this set. That makes the Booster Bundle the largest pack-only product.

Which product fits which buyer

  • You want to try a few packs: Single 30th Celebration packs are the simplest way to chase a Pikachu illustration without a big commitment. Every pack contains one Pikachu.
  • You want the most packs for ripping: The 30th Celebration Booster Bundle includes six packs with no extra accessories.
  • You want a complete box to keep or gift: The 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box includes nine packs, the Nidorina promo, and accessories. It is also the product most often kept sealed.
  • You want a display piece: Look for the Figure Collection or Ultra-Premium Collection when they release November 6.

Market watch: sealed prices as of October 1, 2026

As of October 1, 2026, PriceCharting showed these ungraded sealed prices based on completed sales:

  • Elite Trainer Box: $165.00
  • Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box: $310.00
  • Booster Bundle: $86.72
  • Booster pack: $16.91

BankTCG lists the standard Elite Trainer Box MSRP at $49.99 and says it has traded between $120 and $160 since launch. Early-release prices can swing as more product reaches shelves. BankTCG also notes that the Night Pikachu ex SIR fell from a pre-release peak near $1,250 to about $120. Buy sealed product because you want it, not because you expect a guaranteed return.

Our take

If you love opening packs, the Pikachu-in-every-pack design means even a small purchase gives you something collectible. If you are building a long-term sealed collection, the Elite Trainer Box is the product most likely to stay in demand. Whichever product you choose, sleeve your best pulls right away and store sealed boxes away from sunlight.
